GATINEAU, Quebec, April 29, 2011 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists of lane reductions on the Chaudière Crossing from:
- 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1st.
During that time, only one lane will remain open and will alternate in direction. A traffic controller will be on site to direct traffic.
These lane reductions will not affect pedestrians.
These lane reductions are necessary to allow the rehabilitation of the bridge to continue.
The schedule may change due to inclement weather.
Public Works and Government Services Canada encourages users to exercise caution when in the construction zone and thanks them for their patience.
