Watch out, Vancouver. Canada's Nobel Prize is coming to town. The five winners of this year's $100,000 Killam Prizes will be announced at a news conference on Tuesday, April 19 at 10:00 a.m. at the Beaty Biodiversity Museum in Vancouver. The winners will be available for interviews following the conference.

The Killam Prizes are awarded annually to distinguished Canadian scholars in the fields of health sciences, natural sciences, engineering, social sciences and humanities. These prizes are Canada's most distinguished annual awards for outstanding career achievements in these fields and are an important part of building Canada's future through research.
