Gatineau, Quebec, Monday, May 30, 2011 – Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists that the Alexandra Bridge will be closed to Ottawa-bound traffic on Tuesday, May 31, between 9:00 a.m. and noon.
This closure will not affect pedestrians.
This closure is necessary to allow the inspection of the asphalt pavement of the Ottawa-bound lane. The work is part of the planned rehabilitation of the Alexandra Bridge announced by the Government of Canada under its Economic Action Plan.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
PWGSC apologizes for any inconvenience this closure may cause.
