GATINEAU, QUEBEC, Thursday, May 19, 2011 - Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists that one of three Ottawa-bound lanes of the Macdonald-Cartier Bridge will be reduced from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20.
This lane reduction will not affect pedestrians.
The schedule may change due to inclement weather.
This lane reduction is necessary to conduct general maintenance on the bridge.
PWGSC encourages users to exercise caution when in the construction zone and thanks them for their patience.
