GATINEAU, QUEBEC, Monday, June 27, 2011 - Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists of lane closures on the Alexandra Bridge from:
- 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 27, until 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 28;
- 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, until 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29.
During that time, the Gatineau-bound lane will be closed to vehicular traffic. Motorists will therefore be asked to use either the Portage Bridge or the Macdonald-Cartier Bridge to travel to Gatineau.
These lane closures will not affect pedestrians.
The schedule may change due to inclement weather.
These lane closures are necessary to conduct general maintenance on the bridge.
