(No. A/40 - June 27, 2011) John Baird, Canada’s Foreign Affairs Minister, will be available to media at the Canadian embassy in Rome to discuss meetings held today with Libya’s National Transitional Council (NTC) in Benghazi. The meetings are part of Canada’s enhanced diplomatic engagement strategy with the NTC, announced earlier this month.
Following a brief statement, Minister Baird will take questions from the media.
