GATINEAU, Quebec, July 7, 2011 - Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists of a lane closure on the Alexandra Bridge from:
- 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, until 5 a.m. on Friday, July 8.
During that time, the Gatineau-bound lane will be closed to vehicular traffic. Motorists will therefore be asked to use either the Portage Bridge or the Macdonald-Cartier Bridge to travel to Gatineau.
This lane closure will not affect pedestrians.
The schedule may change due to inclement weather.
This lane closure is necessary to conduct general maintenance on the bridge.
