The Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency is investing $103,400 for the Village of Teslin Tourism Information Kiosks and Signage.

The Village of Teslin and the Teslin Tlingit Council have worked together to create an economic development strategy for the community. “Stay Another Day” is a concept to strengthen the tourism sector by encouraging visitors to stay longer, use more services and generate more business in the community.
CanNor's investment will support the enhancement of tourism infrastructure in the community. An existing information kiosk on the Alaska Highway will be refurbished and a second kiosk constructed to showcase the recreational and cultural richness of the area to encourage travelers to stop in the community before continuing their journey. In addition, a digital sign will be installed in the village to advertise local services and events to visitors motivating them to stay longer.
Village of Teslin
Teslin is a small village located in the Yukon at Mile 804 on the Alaska Highway. It is bordered by the waters of Nisutlin Bay and Teslin Lake.Today, Teslin is home to approximately 480 people. Currently, The Village of Teslin and Teslin Tlingit Council are jointly involved in creating a Local Economic Development Plan.
