Calgary, Alberta, July 13, 2011—The Honourable Lisa Raitt, Canada’s Minister of Labour, today met with key business and labour representatives to discuss trends and challenges in the workplace.
“I would like thank all the participants for sharing valuable knowledge and insight on issues affecting today’s workplaces”, said Minister Raitt. “Roundtables are a great forum to exchange best practices, trends and issues, and bring me as Minister of Labour, a better understanding of the challenges employers sometimes have to face. We are interested in hearing all stakeholders’ opinions in an effort to gain a better understanding of all the issues affecting workplaces".
