QUEBEC - Fisheries and Oceans Canada wants to inform the Upper North Shore population that the harvesting of shellfish is now forbidden due to toxicity, in accordance with the prohibition order mentioned below, and pursuant to subsection 3(1) of the Management of Contaminated Fisheries Regulations, in the following shellfish area:

Upper North Shore :
Banc Marie-Marthe (Île Laval) (N-04.1.2.1)
From a point at east of Rivière Laval's fairway to a point on shore, north of Ile Brûlette's west side, excluding any area awithin 200 m around Ile Laval (Banc Marie-Marthe).
