With support provided by the federal and provincial governments, Fisherman’s Haven Park and the North Cape Complex will receive some needed enhancements and upgrades.

Inside the complex, the Marine Aquarium will receive upgrades and the flooring in the gift shop and restaurant will be replaced.
“These projects will greatly enhance the attractiveness of the Fishermen’s Haven Park and the North Cape Complex for residents and visitors, and I commend Tignish Initiatives for undertaking these projects,” said Fisheries, Aquaculture and Rural Development Minister Neil LeClair. “These projects are an excellent example of governments and community organizations working together to strengthen economic opportunities in rural Prince Edward Island.”
