OTTAWA—Their Excellencies the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, and Mrs. Sharon Johnston will meet with the 2011 Champions of the Children’s Miracle Network, at a reception being held at Rideau Hall, on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at 2:30 p.m.
The Governor General will deliver remarks, followed by Paul Lethbridge, Director, Corporate Development and Hospital Relations at Children’s Miracle Network, and Lindsey Lourenco, one of the Champions (representing the CHEO Foundation.)
The reception will welcome Canadian children and families of the Children’s Miracle Network Champions program, which honours remarkable children from Canada and the United States who have triumphed despite severe medical challenges.
