“I am pleased to congratulate the Congress of Aboriginal Peoples (CAP) on their 40th Annual General Assembly.
The Government of Canada is committed to working collaboratively with CAP to plan and implement effective solutions to important Aboriginal issues. We are equally committed to cultivating productive partnerships and sustaining a dialogue on issues that matter to CAP’s members.
CAP continues to take great strides towards improving governance, internal structures and accountability. Through strong leadership and a genuine desire to respond to the needs of the people it serves, CAP is paving a new path forward towards stronger economic outcomes, educational opportunities and good governance.
