GATINEAU, Quebec, November 10, 2011 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists of a temporary bridge closure on the Chaudière Crossing from 7:00 a.m., Saturday, November 12, 2011, until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, November 13, 2011.
This closure will not affect pedestrians, but will require cyclists to walk their bicycles on the sidewalk through the construction zone.
These lane closures are necessary to allow the upper truss section of the bridge to be coated. Public Works and Government Services Canada encourages users to exercise caution when traveling in the construction zone and thanks them for their patience.
