8 WING TRENTON - Media are invited to join Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of National Defence, Chris Alexander, General Walter Natynczyk, Chief of the Defence Staff, Major-General Alain Parent, Commander 1 Canadian Air Division, and Brigadier-General Michael Hood, Deputy Director General International Security Policy, as they welcome home Task Force Canuck personnel returning from Kandahar.
When: Wednesday, 30 November 2011, 3:30 p.m. (EST). Media are requested to be in place no later than 3 p.m.
Where: 8 Wing Trenton, 7 Hangar. Media will be escorted by 8 Wing personnel from the main lounge of the Passenger Terminal to the venue.
What: Return of Task Force Canuck from ten years of continuous service in support of coalition forces in Afghanistan.
