(No. A/95 - December 5, 2011) The Honourable Diane Ablonczy, Minister of State of Foreign Affairs (Americas and Consular Affairs), will deliver the opening remarks for the Ministerial Dialogue on the Americas, which will take place in Ottawa on Tuesday, December 6, 2011.
The dialogue is an opportunity for the Government of Canada to consult with representatives of the Canadian private sector, academia, think tanks and civil society organizations on developments in the Caribbean and Latin America. Participants will discuss a wide variety of topics, including political, economic and social trends in the region, in support of Canada’s strategic engagement in the Americas.
