Longueuil, Quebec, January 19, 2012 – Canadian Space Agency (CSA) Astronaut Robert Thirsk will share his experience living in space with students of Memorial University in St. John’s, at the event “Speaking in Engineering” on January 19 and at a Grand Rounds meeting on January 20. Dr. Thirsk will also visit and present at Janeway Children’s hospital during his tour in this city.
In 2009 CSA astronaut Robert Thirsk became the first Canadian to take part in a long duration space mission and spend six months living and working on the International Space Station.
