GATINEAU, Quebec, February 1, 2012 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists and pedestrians of temporary closures on the Alexandra Bridge on Friday, February 3, 2012.
These closures are necessary to allow for Winterlude celebrations.
The boardwalk will be closed to pedestrians at 9:00 a.m.
The middle (Ottawa-bound) lane will be closed to vehicles at 4:00 p.m.
The bridge will be completely closed to vehicle traffic at 6:00 p.m. It will be re-opened at the conclusion of the fireworks display.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
