GATINEAU, Quebec, March 16, 2012 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists of a temporary bridge closure on the Chaudière Crossing from 7:00 a.m., Saturday, March 17, 2012, until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, March 18, 2012.
This closure will not affect pedestrians, but will require cyclists to walk their bikes on the sidewalk through the construction zone.
These lane closures are necessary to allow the removal of the scaffolding trusses on a section of the bridge.
Public Works and Government Services Canada encourages users to exercise caution when travelling in the construction zone and thanks them for their patience.
