Saint-Eustache, Quebec, March 8, 2012 — The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that the firm Vicone High Performance Rubber Inc. has been granted funding to move forward on its strategy to commercialize its products in the United States.

said Minister Lebel.
Vicone designs and provides molded and extruded rubber parts as well as other custom products to original equipment manufacturers in the aerospace, defense, electronics, medical technology, biosciences and industrial markets. Through its design, optimization and strategic production services, Vicone supports its clients in manufacturing rubber parts presenting design or execution challenges, such as effective seals.
Through its commercialization strategy, including visits to the target market, participation in trade fairs and implementation of a promotional campaign, Vicone is looking to increase its US sales, notably in high-tech growth sectors. The acquisition of an enterprise resource planning system (ERP) will enable the firm to have complete, up-to-date information, improve its order management, better meet demand and pursue its development.
This $132,500 repayable contribution has been awarded under Canada Economic Development’s Business and Regional Growth program.
