OTTAWA -The Honourable Peter MacKay, Minister of National Defence, will host the inaugural trilateral meeting of North American Defence Ministers on March 27, 2012. Media are invited to attend a brief media opportunity following the meeting with all four North American Defence Ministers.

The Canadian Minster of National Defence, the Honourable Peter Mackay, U.S. Secretary of Defense, the Honourable Leon E. Panetta, the Mexican Secretary of National Defence, General Guillermo Galván Galván, and the Mexican Secretary of the Navy, Admiral Mariano Francisco Saynez Mendoza, will be available to discuss topics related to defence issues of common interest, including threats to North American security.
