HAMILTON, Ontario, April 23, 2012 – The Burlington Canal Lift Bridge is operating on a reduced schedule for all marine traffic.
The bridge will only lift once an hour for marine traffic as required.
Lifts will take longer than normal due to a reduced operational speed and to accommodate multiple vessel passages.
The bridge remains open to vehicular traffic when it is lowered.
Updates will be posted as the situation changes.
