KINGSTON, Ontario, April 18, 2012 – Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise all local residents that the La Salle Causeway Bascule Lift Bridge in Kingston, Ontario, will be closed to vehicular traffic on Wednesday April 18, 2012, from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
The bridge will remain open to pedestrian traffic.
The closure will allow maintenance work to be performed.
If weather or site conditions prevent the completion of work during the above timeframe, the scheduled work will be completed the following night as conditions permit.
