GATINEAU, Quebec, May 25, 2012 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists of temporary closures of the Alexandra Bridge and the Chaudière Crossing for the annual Ottawa Marathon.
The Alexandra Bridge will be closed to motorists on Sunday, May 27, 2012, from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Chaudière Crossing will be closed on the same day from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Pedestrians will not be affected by the closures. Sidewalks will remain open on the Alexandra Bridge and Chaudière Crossing.
Police from Ottawa and Gatineau will be redirecting traffic and maintaining road closures.
