OTTAWA – Media are invited to attend the ceremonial firing of howitzers on Victoria Day to honour the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
What: Royal 60-gun Salute (4 guns, 15-blank rounds)
When: Monday May 21, 2012. Guns start firing at 12:00 p.m.
Where: Canadian War Museum, 1 Vimy Place, Ottawa
The guns are to be positioned on the south-east corner of the museum grounds.
