HALIFAX, Nova Scotia, May 3, 2012 – The Honourable Rona Ambrose, Minister of Public Works and Government Services and Minister for Status of Women, will visit Irving Shipbuilding’s Halifax Shipyard.
2:15 p.m. (for 2:30 p.m. start)
Minister Ambrose will deliver remarks at 2:30 p.m. in the Shipyard’s Training Room in the Main Administrative Building before touring the shipyard. Should media wish to participate in the tour, hard hats and safety glasses will be provided and steel-toed boots are recommended (sensible, low-heeled shoes are acceptable). Please report to security personnel at the main gate with photo ID.
