OTTAWA – The Honourable Peter MacKay, Minister of National Defence, today announced two contract awards for renovations to office areas, syndicate rooms and washrooms in building 84, and for a lightning protection system for Hangers 10 and 11 at 17 Wing Winnipeg. The overall value of the contracts is CAN$883 096.
“The Government is determined to improve infrastructure across the Canadian Forces and is moving forward on these much needed projects,” said Minister MacKay.
The Canadian Forces is a first-class, modern military delivering excellence at home and is a strong and reliable partner in the defence of North America making meaningful contributions to international security.
The Government of Canada conducted open, fair, and transparent competition processes to award contracts for these projects.
