GATINEAU, Quebec, June 19, 2012 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists and pedestrians of a lane and sidewalk reduction on the Timiskaming Dam.
The east-bound lane and sidewalk will be reduced from 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2012. During this time, all traffic will use a single-lane controlled by traffic control personnel. Motorists can expect delays.
This lane reduction is necessary to conduct general inspections on the dam.
The work schedule may change due to weather conditions.
Public Works and Government Services Canada encourages users to exercise caution when in the construction zone and thanks them for their patience.
