Ottawa – On behalf of the Honourable Steven Blaney, Minister of Veterans Affairs, Pierre Poilievre, Member of Parliament for Nepean–Carleton, will join Canadian Merchant Navy Veterans to mark Merchant Navy Veterans Day.
The memorial service will include a wreath-laying ceremony and a tolling of HMCS Carleton's naval bell for the Merchant Navy ships lost during the First and Second World Wars.
