GATINEAU, Quebec, October 16, 2012 – Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists of the closure of the Alexandra Bridge located between Ottawa and Gatineau, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21, 2012.
This closure is necessary to conduct general maintenance on the bridge.
Motorists are asked to use either the Portage Bridge or the Macdonald‑Cartier Bridge during this time.
Pedestrians will not be affected by this closure.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
