HAMILTON, Ontario, October 15, 2012 — Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists that the Burlington Canal Lift Bridge located in Hamilton, Ontario, will be closed to all road traffic during the following hours:
- 11:00 p.m., Monday, October 15, 2012, to 6:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 16, 2012.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
The closure will allow scheduled repairs to take place. If weather does not permit the completion of required work, this closure will occur the following night. Further public notices will be issued as necessary.
Safety is a top priority for PWGSC and we are committed to ensuring the continued integrity of the bridges we manage. We apologize for any inconvenience this closure may cause and thank everyone for their understanding.
