HAMILTON, Ontario, October 10, 2012 — Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise all residents that the Burlington Canal Lift Bridge located in Hamilton, Ontario, will be closed to all road traffic between the following hours:
- 10:00 p.m., Thursday, October 11, 2012, and 6:00 a.m., Friday, October 12, 2012.
The closure will allow scheduled repairs to take place.
Safety is a top priority for PWGSC and we are committed to ensuring the continued integrity of the bridges we manage. We apologize for any inconvenience this closure may cause and thank everyone for their understanding.
