"I am delighted to congratulate the 2013 Indspire Award recipients. These inspiring individuals are recognized for their exceptional contributions to health, law, political science, culture, arts, among other disciplines. They are a beacon to others of what can be achieved with vision, creativity and perseverance.
The awards, formerly the National Aboriginal Achievement Awards, are a celebration of excellence within the Aboriginal community and highlight the achievements of Aboriginal peoples across Canada. The Government of Canada is a proud partner of Indspire which promotes, supports, and celebrates Aboriginal leadership and achievement.
