KINGSTON, Ontario, November 19, 2012 – Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise all local residents that the La Salle Causeway Bascule Lift Bridge in Kingston, Ontario, will be undergoing work on the pedestrian walkway on the following nights:
- Monday, November 19, 2012 to Saturday November 24, 2012, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
The bridge will remain open to vehicular traffic with minor interruptions. Pedestrians will be able to cross the bascule bridge, but should expect delays.
If weather or site conditions prevent the completion of work during the above timeframe, the scheduled work will be completed the following night(s) as conditions permit.
