Ottawa, January 16, 2013 – The third Translation Rights Fair, organized by the Canada Council for the Arts, will be held in Toronto this year. The Fair gives English- and French-language publishers the opportunity to meet, exchange information, and buy and sell translation rights. Previous events have taken place in Ottawa and Montreal.
The Fair is funded under an agreement with the Department of Canadian Heritage through the National Translation Program for Book Publishing. The Canada Council provides funding to Canadian publishers to enrich their lists through its Book Publishing Support: Translation Grants program.
