Québec, Quebec, February 19, 2013 – The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, today announced that Le Patro Roc-Amadour (1978) Inc. has been granted financial assistance to improve and modernize its facilities.
“Our Government is pleased to support infrastructure projects across the country like Le Patro Roc-Amadour,”
said Minister Lebel. “The Community Infrastructure Improvement Fund will benefit families immediately by creating safe and accessible community infrastructure facilities for years to come.”
This financial assistance, granted in the form of a $124,850 non-repayable contribution, has been awarded through the Community Infrastructure Improvement Fund (CIIF).
The CIIF has a nationwide budget of $150 million over two years, including $31.2 million to be invested in Quebec where the Agency is responsible for its administration. The Fund aims to support the rehabilitation and improvement, including expansion, of existing community infrastructure. The 2nd call for proposals is currently open; interested organizations may submit their proposals until April 30, 2013.
