OTTAWA—His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, will present the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal to 60 recipients from across the country and various walks of life on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 10 a.m., at Rideau Hall.
About the Diamond Jubilee Medal
This commemorative medal has been presented over the last year to 60 000 deserving Canadians to celebrate significant contributions and achievements, and to recognize those who, like Her Majesty The Queen, have dedicated themselves to service to their fellow citizens, their community and their country.
