The Honourable Jim Flaherty, Minister of Finance, today tabled a report describing Canada’s activities during 2012 at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), where he serves as Canada’s Governor.
“I am pleased to present Parliament and Canadians with this annual report detailing Canada’s involvement at the EBRD, which plays an important role in the global economy,” said Minister Flaherty. “As the eighth largest shareholder, Canada has a strong interest in ensuring that the organization continues to be effective and accountable.”
