Prime Minister Harper met with United Kingdom Prime Minister David Cameron tonight in London, England on the eve of the funeral of Baroness Thatcher.
The two leaders discussed the need to conclude an ambitious Canada-EU Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA). The CETA will broaden and deepen an already strong Canada-UK commercial relationship.
The leaders also discussed the global economy and pressing international security issues.
Prime Minister Harper offered his support for Prime Minister Cameron’s upcoming June G8 Summit to be held in Lough Erne, Northern Ireland.
