MONTREAL — The Government of Canada is moving forward with plans to build a new bridge for the St. Lawrence and invites interested persons to attend open houses on the environmental assessment. The open houses will be held in the Montreal region from April 14 to 22, 2013.
They are an opportunity for people to receive more information, meet experts and comment on the effects of the project on the environment, as well as the proposed mitigation measures that are the subject of the second part of the environmental assessment report. This report is available on the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency's website at www.ceaa-acee.gc.ca.
The Government of Canada will also accept written comments until May 19, 2013.
