This evening, following the conclusion of the Pacific Alliance Summit in Cali, Colombia, Prime Minister Harper met with Mexican President Peña Nieto.
The Leaders had a wide ranging discussion including how pleased they are with the state of bilateral relations.
They also discussed the state of the global economy and major new trade and economic initiatives including the Pacific Alliance and the Trans Pacific Partnership. The Prime Minister commended the President for his and other members' leadership with the Pacific Alliance.
They Prime Minister and President also discussed cooperation in the North American context and ideas for further strengthening North American competitiveness.
