Ottawa, June 21, 2013 - The public warning issued on June 6, 2013 has been amended to correctly identify the affected lot codes and associated Best By dates for the Vega® Sport Endurance Bar Mocha product.
There has been one reported allergic reaction.
Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to milk.
The distributor, Sequel Naturals Ltd., Burnaby, BC, is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
