The Honourable Peter Van Loan, Leader of the Government in the House of Commons, on behalf of the Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities, Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, and Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs, will be joined by Dr. James Lunney, Member of Parliament for Nanaimo—Alberni; Cindy Solda, Chair, Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District; Josie Osborne, Mayor of Tofino; and Bill Irving, Mayor of Ucluelet, to announce Government of Canada support for the Tofino-Ucluelet-Long Beach Airport.
Minister Van Loan, Dr. Lunney, Ms. Solda, Ms. Osborne, and Mr. Irving will be available for a photo opportunity and to answer questions from the media following the announcement.
