Gatineau, Quebec, August 23, 2013 – Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists and pedestrians of upcoming lane reductions on the Hull Causeway section of the Chaudiere Crossing. Lane reductions will be in effect until Thursday, October 31, 2013, to allow deck replacement and steel repairs.
One lane of vehicle traffic in both directions will remain open at all times and pedestrians will be redirected to a new temporary sidewalk during lane reductions.
PWGSC encourages users to exercise caution when traveling in the construction zone and thanks them in advance for their patience, as temporary delays will occur during the construction work.
