Ottawa – On behalf of the Honourable Julian Fantino, Minister of Veterans Affairs, the Honourable Pierre Poilievre, Minister of State (Democratic Reform), will participate in a commemorative ceremony to mark National Peacekeepers’ Day. The ceremony honours current and former members of the Canadian Armed Forces, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and other police forces who have served or are currently serving in peacekeeping operations around the world.
An area will be reserved for media. Please note that space is limited. Media officers will be on hand to coordinate individual interviews before and after the ceremony.
