GATINEAU, Quebec, October 17, 2013 – Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists that the Alexandra Bridge will be closed during three consecutive weekends, from Friday, October 18 until Monday, October 21, 2013, from Friday, October 25 until Monday, October 28, 2013, and from Friday, November 1 until Monday, November 4, 2013. The closures will be in effect from 8:00 p.m. Friday until 5:00 a.m. Monday.
There will be no boardwalk closures during these periods, pedestrians and cyclists will not be affected.
These bridge closures are necessary to conduct general maintenance.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
