GATINEAU, Quebec, October 3, 2013 — Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists, pedestrians and cyclists of lane and boardwalk closures on the Alexandra Bridge from Friday, October 4 until Monday, October 7, 2013. The closures will be in effect from 8:00 p.m. Friday until 5:00 a.m. Monday.
While the Ottawa-bound traffic lane will be closed to motorists, the Gatineau-bound lane will remain open for vehicle use at all times. Pedestrians and cyclists will be required to use the Ottawa-bound vehicle lane, as the pedestrian boardwalk will be closed for general maintenance.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
