GATINEAU, Quebec, October 10, 2013 - Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists of lane closures on the Alexandra Bridge during two consecutive weekends, from Friday, October 11 until Monday, October 14, 2013, and again from Friday, October 18 until Monday, October 21, 2013. The closures will be in effect from 8:00 p.m. Friday until 5:00 a.m. Monday.
The Gatineau-bound lane will be closed to perform general maintenance on the bridge, while the Ottawa-bound lane will remain open to motorists at all times.
Pedestrians and cyclists will not be affected by these lane closures.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
