October 22, 2013 - Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird will meet with Tony Blair, Quartet Representative and former British prime minister, to discuss the Middle East peace process.
The United Nations, the European Union, the United States and Russia established the Quartet in 2002 to help mediate the Middle East peace process. The Quartet also provides Palestinians with support for economic development and institutional capacity-building.
