GATINEAU, Quebec, October 11, 2013 – Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists, pedestrians and cyclists that the Chaudière Crossing will be closed in both directions on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., and on weekends from 6:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. These closures will begin on Monday, October 14, 2013, and will end on Friday, November 22, 2013.
Local traffic, public transit, pedestrians and cyclists will be allowed through, but should anticipate delays.
These closures are necessary to allow repairs on the crossing.
PWGSC encourages users to choose an alternative route around the construction zone and thanks them for their patience.
